Yachtmaster Motor preparation and Exam
For candidates building up towards their Yachtmaster Coastal & Offshore Practical exam. Normally the Yachtmaster prep is immediatelly followed by the Yachtmaster practical Exam.
For the experienced skippers who want to achieve this coveted accreditation and the stepping stone for those going into the industry.
Pre-exam Experience
2500 miles – 50% in tidal waters.
5 passages over 60 miles.
2 of those passages incorporating night hours.
2 of those passages as skipper.
Form of exam
Practical.
Certification required
SRC/VHF Radio operators certificate.
First Aid certificate.
What is included in the fee:
Fully qualified professional instruction
Fuel and mooring fees
Examiner's travel expenses and accomodation
What is not included:
Exam fees payable to the RYA
Food and accomodation (Accomodation possible on board for an extra fee)
